Who is Brezhnev Paul Banda?

Brezhnev Paul Banda is an award winning commercial photographer who has done commercial work for almost every blue chip brand in the country, from Zimplats, Old Mutual, Tel One, Net-one, Unilever, Schweppes, Steward Bank, MBCA and Delta.

Brezhnev Paul Banda is also a fashion photographer. He has done work for the Truworths group and he has exhibited his fashion photography at National and International level with Gwanza Photography month. Paul also exhibited as a solo Fashion Photographer and did an exhibition in 2015 in partnership with So Profound a spoken word poet titled The Hitchhiker.

Brezhnev Paul Banda has produced more than three hundred pieces of commercial work in the past three years. He has worked with many famous people including the likes of Mai Chisamba, Elikem, Jah Prayzah, Sulumani Chimbetu, Winky D, Kapfupi and the Charambas.

Brezhnev Paul Banda's commercial work has won awards at the local advertising awards 2013 Photographer runner up for "It's all about you" campaign of the year for Mbca bank at the Ngomas 2014 Photographer for the Chibuku "It's the big one" campaign which won the gold for craft at the Ngomas. 2014 Photographer for the Sunlight Chiedza campaign which won Zimbabwe's first Lourie award, Paul was then head photographer at Jericho advertising. 2015 Photographer and Creative consultant for the Steward Bank "bank for people that hate banks" that won silver for craft at the Ngomas

Brezhnev Paul Banda is also the Founder and Casting Director at the Casting Agency, Zimbabwe's first fully fledged casting agency, currently curating working for over a hundred talents from all over Zimbabwe and its diaspora. Brezhnev Paul Banda also runs a small media, branding and events company called Sky Creative which specialises in outdoor media and creating online platforms and applications. When Paul is not working, he likes to cook and he runs a food blog called Real Men Cook.
